Her bold, and confident writing provokes the reader to stop and think. To really assess reality, and think how that relates to who we are.
Hope you enjoy!
So without further ado- My book of the week this week( those of you who follow me on twitter may already know) is........
The V- Woman By author Cristiane Cardoso (definitely one of my favourite authors, by far!)
Her bold, and confident writing provokes the reader to stop and think. To really assess reality, and think how that relates to who we are.Heavily related to the Bible passage Proverbs 31:10
This book emphasises the need for women to realise that this character illustrated in the Bible passage is not just a distant ancient day person, she can be anyone of us and it does not depend on what we have been.
My Favourite extract from the book: "Fashion..... brainwashes us through the media to the point of make us look at our full closet and think, "I have nothing to wear today.""
This is the kind of down-to-earth talking that makes this book, my Books of the Week!
I know that many of you out there may have also read this book, Please share your experiences with the book, by leaving your comments

I have started reading this book too :)
ReplyDeleteI went to Belgium in November last year. I was in the beginning of this book. I a met a girl there who wanted the book very much, but they didn't have it in the country there. So I gave her mine. Just last week I brought it again and now I am reading it all over again. Its an amazing book, and many secrets to being a true woman of God is unveiled there.
