Evil eyes, jealous eyes, covetous eyes, envious eyes, and so on and so forth. Many times we talks about variations of eyes, but in essence what does this really mean to Women nowadays? In the Fifth and final part of this series we are going to analyse, one of the hardest parts of our body to control.
From walking down the street and seeing over 50 different things happening at the same time, it is more often than not that we find ourselves day dreaming with our eyes, judging with our eyes, assuming with our eyes and even some 'fall in love' with their eyes!
I thought to share this really thought provoking story with you it's one that some of you may have heard before.
'One day, while in church, a woman looked over and noticed how the pastor’s wives were all sitting together. She thought to herself, "Look at them. Isn’t that something? They must think that they’re better than us. Why don’t they sit amongst us?”
That same day, another woman who also happened to look over at them said to herself, "Look how beautiful! All the wives are sitting together; that’s what you call unity!"
On another occasion, the pastor's wife got all dressed up and one woman said to the other, "Look at her, she’s always so dressed-up. What a show off..."
A young girl looked over at her as well and said, "I want to be just like her! She’s a woman of God; beautiful on the inside and on the outside."
One day, that pastor was transferred to a new church and the new pastor’s wife didn’t have time to go home and get ready before the meeting. The same woman looked at the new wife and said to her friend, "Look at how ugly she looks. How inconsiderate, she not even dressed properly for church. What an embarrassment to God and to her husband!"
The young woman looked over at her and thought, "She looks tired; may God give her strength."
Do you know the moral of this story?
"When your eye is good, your whole body is filled with light."
So Ladies, Have you learnt through the Sense Series?
What we do is so much deeper than we think

I was once someone who looked with bad eyes at every little thing that would happen, especially when it was something that effected me. ohh how dirty you become inside because you then react the same way you are feeling and looking at things. I could say it like a spiritual illness, because if you don't cure it, it will contaminate the whole body When my relationship with God become closer I began to see how our bad eyes can darken our whole body, and God wont be able to use us in that way. When we have the spirit of God in us, evil thoughts may even come, but we wont allow it to remain there. We must take it out!
ReplyDeleteWow...Look easy it is to have bad eyes against someone..When these thoughts come to our mind we have to think were are these thoughts coming from? God or the devil? When you come to your sense's it's only the devil that can be making you look at people in that way!
