Have you ever met a woman that leaves you speechless(in a good way) with her behaviour, maybe its your Mum, Aunt, Sister, Friend at church...
...but I ask have you ever thought about ever meeting the V-woman! ('V' standing for virtuous)
Its a bird, no it's a plane, not it's... it's ....it's V-WOMAN!!!
Okay, okay may that was a little bit over exaggerated, but you get my point. To almost every woman that has read Proverbs 31:10 onwards, this woman is the picture of perfect a distant dream that was really good while it lasted, but could never exist in the real world.
The thing that I love about this bible passage, is when listing her attributes , the bible address the different aspects of her life.
She was a Mother, wife, etc...and yet in all she excelled. I don't believe that God would give and impossible inspiration to follow, not only would that be non-logical it wouldn't be just, and as God is a God of justice.
A passage in the bible that always strikes me when I say that 'I can't' is
' I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me' Philippians 4:13
The statement of I can't shows that in that particular area you are not choosing to but God first, because it is easier for us to think of doing our best when God is involved, but when we just she it as an ordinary task, it will be subject to our feelings, procrastinations and much more.

I love it! You know why the v-woman inspires me.... because she hasn't got a name. She was not named in the bible, but yet described as if it is a real person. When I read this passage, I place my name in it because it is nameless and can be occupied by anyone who wants to be that v-woman. God did not put that in the bible by accident, but to also show us women what a true woman of God is in His eyes. I am reading the v-woman book and it has made me see how God wants me to be. What he expects. This is a profile that God has made just for us! :-)
